🎄 We’re taking a short holiday break! Closed on DEC 24–28 & JAN 1 — back to normal hours JAN 2. ✨
Book your initial assessment and take the first step toward building strength, improving confidence, and moving better — all under expert physiotherapist supervision.
The journey starts with an initial assessment, where your physiotherapist will learn about your current history, any past complaints and work with you to develop realistic and timely performance goals.
Performance testing will then be carried out using state-of-the-art equipment to determine where your strengths currently lie and what areas are due for improvement. These tests give us a clear picture of your current strength level and will guide your personalised gym program. They also give us important baseline data that will be re-tested down the track – ensuring you are always making improvement.
Once in the class, you’ll train in a small group setting, with every exercise selected to suit your ability, goals, and needs. Our physiotherapists ensure you progress safely through the principle of progressive overload, so you keep building strength without risking injury.
Most participants attend 1–2 classes per week, with some also following a structured home program for best results.
These classes are ideal if you:
Our classes are designed for people at all stages of health and fitness. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or simply want to get stronger, our physiotherapists tailor the program to your needs.
Unlike a standard gym class, every session is clinically designed and supervised by a physiotherapist. We use advanced testing and evidence-based methods to ensure your training is safe, targeted, and progressive, not generic.
Your first session is where we measure your movement, strength, power and endurance with cutting-edge force-measuring equipment, AxIT. This helps us create a clear, personalised training plan and track your progress over time.
Most people achieve great results with two classes per week, but there is evidence to show benefit from just one supervised session, where a structured home program is performed alongside classes. We’ll help you find the right balance for your lifestyle and goals.
With consistent attendance, you can expect improved strength, better mobility, reduced injury risk, and increased confidence in movement. For those with conditions like osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, or post-ACL surgery, research shows significant improvements in pain, function, and long-term outcomes.
For over 20 years, mhealth has supported Melbourne’s Bayside community with experienced, evidence-based care. Our philosophy is built around your body, your goals, and your long-term recovery — no quick fixes, no fads.
