Bill: What would my “self” Pilates look like in between classes during the week?
Steve: Well you’d be doing five or six exercises on the mat, mat Pilates, floor Pilates. We would give you to help you either with your injury, your fitness, or your performance goals.
Bill: So, it’s kind of like walking ten thousand steps a day. That’s just you should be exercising each day because that’s going to make your body fit and healthy so you can do all the things you need and want to do.
Steve: That’s right. Keep it efficient and moving.
Bill: Every single day?
Steve: Every single day. Do you have a dog or cat?
Bill: I do.
Steve: When your dog wakes up in the morning does he go through a series of stretches or does he not cause he overthinks it.
Bill: He does a bit of downward dog.
Bill: But yeah, now that I think about it. He goes through a walk every single day.
Steve: So, I think that sometimes, we, as humans, overthink stuff and think things are just going to happen. You got to work for it. The more you do, the better you feel and the better you perform.
